Default Easy Storage Solution - Allow Characters 3 Bags instead of 2

Instead of revamping the entire storage world (from expanding storage space to adding guild storage, etc.), why not just make a simple fix?

Instead of having slots for two bags in the inventory screen, why not just allow them to carry three?

Perks:

--- No changes to existing storage space is needed, so should not present any programming problems for items already in storage;
--- Bags provide 10 extra storage slots (with a rune of holding), so across 6 characters that 60 extra slots;
--- Bags are carried by characters, so they can carry their own holiday goodies;

Negatives:

--- Have to change inventory screen to shrink bags to fit three;
--- Have to change bag hotkeys to provide one for the third bag;

Seems like a very logical (and relatively simple) fix to me, but then again I'm not a techie...

it all depends on how the current system is implemented code-wise. without knowing that, we can't make any assumptions. instead of adding a 3rd bag, they could:

-add major and superior runes of holding. =)
-allow you to purchase silver, gold, and platinum storage accounts at the xunlai storage agency.

How about allowing us to buy as many bags as we want but only equipping 2 at a time??

A full bag takes up 1 slot in your storage.

I'm not sure an extra bag is anything but a short-term solution:

I would wish them to make an armor bag. Each bag can hold 1 set of armor (leg, chest, arm, etc). (I am sure someone in Anet already thought of something similar)

The biggest problem with storage is not really the items, but the equipments. If equipment take less space, we will be fine.

At this rate... once we get to chapter 4, we need 4 character slots to hold 1 character's armor.

Currently, I dare not to simply buy armors, due to storage problems.

True, but at the same time it DOES provide an extra 60 storage slots if you have a merged Prophecies/Factions account.

By the way - you realize that you have quite a bit of stuff in your inventory (the entire right hand column) that has an "offsite" location to store them, right - the material trader and rare material trader (and other players if you have the patience to sell them in one of the main marketplaces)...

I personally carry very little to no crafting materials in my inventory in order to save space. Yes, you're subject to the risk of inflation, but for the most part when those materials are needed (primarily to craft armor) they are easily obtainable.

I fully understand the armor argument and for the most part the item argument...but I've made sacrifices in other areas not to cripple my characters.
